The Scout Association

The Scout association is made up of a hierarchy that gives structure and support to leaders parents and children of all ages, in order to ensure that every child gets the most out of scouting. Developing their physical, intellectual, spiritual and social needs. The structure is shown below with a number of facts specific to 3rd Hazel Grove

Based at Gilwell Park near London, this is the top level of the association, where all the rules are made.

The second level of the hierachy. There are 114 Counties in UK. Ours is called Greater Manchester East. The Greater Manchester East County Badge is shown .

Districts

There are around 1000 districts in the UK. Our district is called Ladybrook Valley and is 1 of 11 districts within our county. The Ladybrook Badge is shown.
