Explorer Hike

Explorer Hikes are backpacking hikes that are used to gain your Expedition Award. They are normally 2 days walking with 1 night sleeping in a tent. On the first day we usually walk about 15 miles and the second day about 13. We carry food, a tent, cooking utensals, a trangia (cooking stove), fuel, first aid kit, emergency rations, survival kit, spare clothes and a drink.
