| We arrived at the site and setup the tents |

| Monday |
| We started our main craft base making model lighthouses |
 |

| The Cubs attacked the obstacle course in the afternoon |
 |
 |

| Tuesday |
| We travelled up the coast to Bamburgh Castle where we had a talk about it's history |
 |
 |
 |
 |
After the castle we drove down to Seahouses where we boarded a boat for a trip around The Farne Islands and a visit to Longstone lighthouse.
Apart from going up the lighthouse we got to see seals, puffins and lots other sea birds. |

| This was followed by a chippy tea in Seahouses |
| Wednesday |
| On Wednesday we continued with our model lighthouses. This involved the electrical circuit to power the light, Yes they do work!! |
 |
 |
| In the afternoon we did archery and crate stacking. |
 |
 |
 |
| The crate stackers managed 35 crates before the wind blew one of the stacks over leaving nothing to stand on! |
 |

| Thursday |
| Thursday we spent the day at Alnwich Castle where the Cubs went in Dragons Quest |
 |
 |
 |
| The Cubs also got the opportunity to dress up in period costumes in the Knights Quest. |
 |
 |
| Alnwich Castle was used in the making of part of the Harry Potter films. The Cubs where fortunate to meet Hagrid and Dumbledore whilst we were there. |
 |

 |
| We then went on a tour of the Royal Chambers and grounds |
 |
 |
 |
| Friday |
 |
Friday saw the completion of the model lighthouses, red and white paint everywhere. |
 |
 |
| In the afternoon we went to Craster which is famous for its Kipper smokery |
 |
| We also went for a walk around the harbour in the torrential rain!! |
 |
 |
| Saturday |
| Time to leave for home |
