The Gemmi Pass

On Monday 4th we split into 7 groups, each one to take on one of the 4 hikes we had organised up in the mountains
Each group completed a hike based on their ability, staying overnight in a mountain hut.
With train rides for some, and and at least one cable car trip per group there was more to the expeditions than walking.
At night we met up in two groups at the mountain huts. 4 groups met at the Rinterhutte and had to cater for themselves using trangia stoves and food which DJ brough round via Train, Bus and Cable Car.
The other three groups met up at the Lammerhutte and enjoyed a meal catered by the hut staff.
In the morning all the groups had a breakfast laid on by their respective hut, and set off down to Leukerbad.
After Leukerbad it was back into groups for the return leg over the Gemmi pass.
