Everyone joins together for Breakfast

Friday the 1st August is Swiss National Day. This is a Swiss bank holiday celbrating the formation of switzerland
Because of this the day is a celebration on site, starting with an international breakfast where everyone on site joins together to eat and for entertainment from the stage
Following this there are activities available all over Kandersteg, ours were a trip to the swimming baths and a round of mini golf in the village
After dinner everyone joins together again for a presentation followed by a parade down to the village, with many chants etc, for a bonfire and a celebration of Swiss life on the village stage
