Canoeing camp is a great way to improve canoeing skills, you can paddle much futher and for a longer period of time than you could on a Friday Scout night. The only problem is when you have to go back to your tent soaking wet, instead of going home to a nice hot shower. Despite this, everyone had a great time, not only canoeing but cooking and camping in a traditional way, with a campfire on Saturday night.
