Activity Write Ups - 2005 - Cub Summer Camp

This years Cubs' Summer Camp was themed on Dinosaurs and held at Huish Woods near Taunton.

On Monday the Cubs travel by train from Manchester to Taunton.
The activities began on Tuesday with shooting, archery and climbing all on the programme.
Wednesday brought a change to the programme with a trip to Cheddar Gorge and Caves, followed by swimming at Bridgwater Splash.
Thursday was another day with onsite activities that included; a zip wire and artificial caving.
Friday was a busy day starting with a trip to Charmouth Heritage centre. The trip included fossil hunting on the beach and talk about dinosaurs as well as making their own fossils.
After the trip came some in the sea investitures and a chippy tea at Lyme Regis. All that was left to do on Saturday was pack up, say goodbye and leave!
