Activity Write Ups - 2000 - Troop Training Camp

In March 2000 we went on a weekend troop static training camp to Silverwood campsite in Barnsley. The weather was great and it lifted everyones spirits to make the weekend even more enjoyable. The idea of a training camp is to learn the skills that every one has fogotten over the winter. The main activity this year was knife and axe work. We also cooked on fires all weekend which meant alot more washing up!
